Transportation and Distribution (T&D) is the backbone of Manitoba’s economy — enabling the movement of goods, people, and essential services across the province and beyond. But behind every shipment, delivery, or warehouse operation, organizations like Supply Chain Manitoba are working to strengthen the talent pipeline and connect industry needs to workforce solutions.
This video spotlights the work of Supply Chain Manitoba, one of the three partners within the Transportation & Distribution Sector Council, a government-funded initiative through the Manitoba Sector Council Program focused on workforce development, SME support, and industry capacity-building.
What do we do?
• Help newcomers, career changers, and students explore logistics, warehousing, and procurement career pathways
• Connect individuals to training like SCMP and SMT through our partner, Supply Chain Canada
• Support local employers through job matching, outreach, and upskilling opportunities
• Promote sustainable practices through Manitoba’s Circular Supply Chain initiative
